Funeral services for Geraldine McSwain of Bremen will be 12:00 P.M., Wednesday, August 3 ^rd at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Johnson's Grove Cemetery in Bremen. Visitation for the public will be on Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Mrs. McSwain was born on May 20, 1933 in Cullman, Alabama to the late Isaiah and Lena (Thornton) McDonald. She died at the age of 89 on July 31, 2022 at Cullman Regional Medical Center in Cullman.

Survivors include her children, Patt (Danny) Gunter and Brenda (Larry) Allred; grandchildren, Jarrod (Lynn) Gunter, Chrystie (James) Pearl, and Nick (Sara) Gunter; great grandchildren, Madison Thompson, Landen Gunter, Jayden Allred, Ashton Gunter, Leila Pearl, Kila Rae Gunter, Lily Gunter, Jasper Gunter, Addi Mae Gunter and Lukas Gunter; 3 step great-grandchildren; and a host of many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. McSwain was preceded in death by her husband, Duel "Heavy" McSwain; and sister, Wynell Smith.
