Funeral services for Estell Ballard, 95, of Hanceville, Alabama will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, October 6, 2023 at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Trueman Davis will be officiating. The burial will follow the service at Hopewell Cemetery in Hanceville. Visitation for the public will be from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 5th at the funeral home.

Mrs. Ballard was born on September 1, 1928 to the late Walter M. and Ora (Johnson) Davis. She passed away at her residence surrounded by her family on October 1, 2023.

Survivors include her children, Steve (Debbie) Ballard, Randy Ballard, Debbie (Randy) Nation, and Michael Ballard; grandchildren, Renee Lollar, Rebecca Ballard, and Andrew (Tasia) Nation; great grandchildren, Jolene Lollar and Rosalie Nation; sister, Faye (Clarence) Stamey; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Ballard was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Ballard.
