Funeral services for Emma Clopton, 85, of Colony will be 12:00 P. M. Saturday, April 20th at Pleasant Grove Methodist Church.  Mrs. Clopton will lie-in-repose at the church on Saturday from 11:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M.  Burial will follow the service at Colony Cemetery in Hanceville.  Visitation will be Friday, April 19th from 5:30 P.M. until 7:30 P.M. at Hanceville Funeral Home.

Mrs. Clopton was born June 19, 1938 in Sipsey, Alabama.  She passed away April 15, 2024 in Birmingham, Alabama.

Sister Clopton leaves to Cherish her loving memories: Robert (Angela) Clopton Sr. of Mobile Alabama, Herman (Amelia) Clopton, Minnie (Tim) Clopton, ret. Major Emma L., Dena Marie, and Master Seargent  Sarah Clopton all of Birmingham, AL.  Her surviving grandchildren; James J. Clopton  (Annalynn), Eddie Clopton Jr. (Dianna), Major Robert Clopton Jr. (Michelle), Phillip Clopton, Ashley Clopton, Priscella Amerson, Herman Clopton III, Tara Colston, Katrina Colston, Yolanda Smith, Eric(Keke) and Ladavid(Rakia)Clopton, Ladarius Dixon(Megan) and Maeghan Watkins. She will be eternally missed by a host of great and great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends, and Goddaughter Sharon Nation.
