Funeral services for Elois Wynema Carden, 76, of Cullman will be 12:00 P.M. Monday, November 24th at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the service at Spring Hill Cemetery. Bro. Alton Bailey will be officiating services.

Elois was born on Tuesday, November 30, 1948 and passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2025. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother & great grandmother. She had many passions which included her career as a nurse, traveling with her husband of 43 years, baking and shopping with her daughter and granddaughter. She was an avid reader and a devoted member of her church.

Mrs. Carden was preceded in death by her father, Richard Louis Copeland; mother, Etha Viola Hill; and brothers, Richard "Elvis" Copeland and Louie Artis "Pete" Copeland.

Survivors include her husband, Truman "Nathan" Carden; daughter, Janet (David) Denton; son, Alton "Scotty" Reynolds; grandchildren, Andrew Filyaw, Amanda (Josh) Crawford and Kierah Denton; great grandchildren, Nyla Filyaw, Payton Crawford, Brooklyn Crawford and Savannah Crawford; siblings, Edith (Julian) Oats and Blanch (Charles) Thomas; and a host of many nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers will be Andrew Filyaw, Josh Crawford, Matt Filyaw and Justin Merritt.
