Ellie Casey Brasfield, affectionately known to most as "Ellie B." passed away while she was resting; surrounded by family in the comfort of her log cabin, she proudly designed herself.

Ellie is survived by her much loved son, Craig Brasfield and his wife Janet Austin; sister, Etheleen Casey Thomas; brothers, George Horace Casey, Wade Douglas (Catherine) Casey and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arta and Buck Casey; and a younger sister, Donna Renee Casey. This world lost a gentle and loving heart.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, July 16 ^th at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation for the public will be from 2:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. at the funeral home prior to the service on Saturday. She will be interred at Hopewell Cemetery with her mother and father at a later date.
