A graveside service for Ellen L. Cates of Bremen will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, February 6 ^th at Cold Springs Baptist Cemetery. Reverend Horace Swann will officiate.

Mrs. Cates was born on December 8, 1923 in Cullman, Alabama to James Harding and Missouri (York) Harding. She died at the age of 98 at her residence on February 2, 2022.

Survivors include her children, Larry Cates, Hilda Gillham and Judy (Tip) Fulmer; grandchildren, Kerry (Amanda) Hancock, Shane (Tracey) Hancock, Blake (Tracey) Gillham and Brandon Gillham; a host of great grand children, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and a special friend and neighbor, Ellen Hogeland.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cates was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Cates; grandson, Mark Hancock; and daughter-in-law, Brenda Cates.
