Funeral services for Ella Romona (Mona) Harris will be 3:00 P.M. Saturday May 30th at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be prior to the service from 2:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. at Hanceville Funeral Home.

Ella Romona (Mona) Harris went home to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on May 26, 2026. She was born April 1, 1935. She is preceded in death by her husband Jim Harris, and son Jamey Marrs. She leaves behind a son Don Marrs, two daughters, Nina (Dan) King and Wendy (Perry) Schaffer, along with grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

She was a member of Fairview West Baptist Church for over 50 years; teaching all ages and singing in the choir. She was also an active member and held office in the DAV together with her husband Jim Harris.

The family would like to thank all the dedicated staff at Southern Care Hospice, especially the nurses for the excellent care and kindness they showed our mother.

Serving as pallbearers will be Perry Schaffer, Dan King, Daniel King Jr., Don Marrs, Chris Marrs, and J.J. Marrs.

In lieu of flowers a donation to Fairview West Baptist Church will be appreciated.
