Funeral services for Edna Lindsey White of Hanceville will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, July 1st at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. The burial will take place at Hopewell Cemetery. Alan Yeater and Leon Mauldin will be officiating. Visitation for the public will be from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on Saturday at Hanceville Funeral Home.

Mrs. White was born on March 26, 1935, to the late John C. and Rushie (Shaddix) Lindsey in Cullman, Alabama. She passed away at the age of 88 on June 25, 2023, at her residence in Hanceville.

Survivors include her children, Sheila (Roger D.) Owens, Pamela Thrasher, Rene Harvey and Lynn White; grandchildren, Nathan Owens, Paul Owens, Kevin Owens, Daniel Thrasher, Ben Thrasher, Leah Collier, Jason "JT" Booth, Allyson DeWitt, John Harvey, Jereamy White and Anthony White.; great grandchildren, Cameron Thrasher, Gabrielle Thrasher, Colton Collier, Levi Collier, Brayden Thrasher, Greyson Thrasher, Hunter-Leigh Booth, Lexi DeWitt, Keira White, Kenna White and Valkyrie Scott; sisters-in-law, Zelda Lindsey, Katie Lindsey and Thelene White; and a host of many loving nieces and nephews.

Mrs. White was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Don H. White, and siblings, Clifford Lindsey, John Euel Lindsey, Doris Chapman, Jack Lindsey and Bobby Wayne Lindsey.
