Drucilla Johns Wilson, age 88 of Blountsville, passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2022 at her home. She was born in Blountsville, Alabama on July 16, 1933 to the late Johnny Johns and Louvennie Starnes Johns. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Freewill Baptist Church for 22 years.

Drucilla was preceded in death by her husband, Sonny Wilson; son, Wayne Wilson; daughter, Anita Cornelius; granddaughter, Amy Thompson; siblings, Wilburn Johns, Alton Johns, Lawrence Johns, Elmo Johns, Jimmy Johns, Laura Cochran and Alene Bradford. She is survived by her son, Ken (Rose) Wilson; daughter in law, Lisa Wilson; grandchildren, Chris Wilson, Adam Cornelius, Brandy Carnes, Shawn Hagen and Christy Gillie; thirteen great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren with an extra on the way; sisters, Imogene Whitehead and Geraldine Fallin.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at 2:00 PM from the Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Mike Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethlehem East Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until service time.
