Funeral services for Dorothy J. Maddox, 74, of Cullman who died Saturday, September 11, 2021 will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at Hanceville Funeral Home. Her family will receive friends Monday evening at the funeral home beginning at 5:30.

Dorothy was the daughter of the late Wallace and Jewel Dobbs and the wife of the late Ronnie C. Maddox. She had retired as the office manager of the E-911 office.

Survivors include children Bobby Hare and Connie (Jerry) Duke; Grandchildren, Joseph (Whitny) Nabors, Megan Hinkle, Judy Bearden, Sam Bearden, Daniel Bearden, Denise Bearden, Mike Duke and Pat Duke. Great grandchildren are Daxton Nabors, Cohen Duke, Madison Bearden, McKenly Barrett and Kamri Bearden.  She was also survived by siblings, Hoyt Dobbs and Linda Moore.

She was also preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law, Wallace & Mae Dobbs.
