Funeral services for Donna Lee Speegle-Freeman, of Bremen, AL will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, May 26th at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the service at Bowman's Chapel Cemetery. Reverend Malcolm Carter will be officiating. Visitation for family and friends will begin at 5:00 P.M. Thursday, May 25th at Hanceville Funeral Home.

Mrs. Freeman was born on April 11, 1941 in Cullman, Alabama to the late Herman C. and Mary Speegle. She passed away at the age of 82 at her residence on May 23, 2023 in Bremen, Alabama.

Donna was a beautiful loving woman and was known by many throughout Cullman County. She will be remembered as a caring soul that leaves with her children, family and those close to her with peace of seeing her again in Heaven. She was a lover of all things flowers and sunshine. She loved springtime and the freshness of new life and sounds of birds. She was also a lover of others, especially her family. Her smile and laughter will be remembered as contagious and uplifting.

Mrs. Freeman is survived by her children, Denise (Danny) Strickland, Kelton Ray "Kerry" (Debra) Freeman, and Cindy (Rick) Myrex; grandchildren, Jennifer Knight, Chad Curtis, Kailon Freeman, Georgia Myrex and Abby Myrex-Lee; 10 great grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; brother, Harry Dean (Linda) Speegle; sister, Dora Bea (The Late Jude) Johnson; and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews who are all loved.
