Diane Hill, age 71, of Warrior, passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at Princeton Baptist Medical Center in Birmingham. She was born in Birmingham, Alabama on August 13, 1951 to G.W. and Virginia Jones. Diane was a RN at Carraway Hospital until they closed and went on to U.A.B. Hospital where she worked in the Neonatal Unit until retirement in 2012. She was a member of Arley First Baptist Church; member of the Eastern Star; loved to travel out west and visit Yellow Stone National Park; was very talented with arts and crafts; loved to fish with her husband for thirty plus years in tournaments.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents. She leaves to cherish many loving memories by her husband of 54 years, Jim Hill, Sr.; her sons, Jimmy (Geralyn) Hill, Jr. and Jeff (Diana) Hill; grandchildren, Samantha (Wesley) Millican, Zach Hill, Lane (Kelsey) Hill and Shane "Cole" Hill; great grandchildren, Sonny Millican, Waylon Millican and Rhett Dallas Hill; brother, George Jones, sisters, Pam (George) Fitzgerald and Renea Jones; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Diane will be held on Monday, November 21, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Johnny Allred officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the time of service on Monday at the funeral home.
