A memorial service for Cletus Sims, 89, of Colony will be 1:00 August 24th at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel.  Visitation for the family will be from 11:00 until 12:00.  The family will receive friends at Hanceville Funeral Home at Hanceville Funeral Home from 12:00 P.M. until 1:00 P.M. on Saturday.

Mr. Sims was born March 24, 1935 in Colony, Alabama to the late Robert and Sally Johnson.  He passed away August 15, 2024 in Colony, Alabama.

Mr. Sims is survived by his children, Charlotte Frazier, Patricia Sims, Janet Turner, Marvis Sims, Demetrice Sims; grandchildren, Jordan Bolton, Jamai Mims, Solomon Penn, Jonah Penn, Isaak Penn, Makayla Sims, Brittany Burrow, Breona Alexander, Geoffery Hall, Marc Frazier, Courtney Frazier; sister, Louise Wooley; a host of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The family would like to give a special 'Thank You' to nephews; who provided their love, care and support.
