Funeral services for Mr. Claud Day, aged 86, of Hanceville, will be 2 p.m. Sunday December 1, 2019 at the Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Dennis Reeves will be officiating. Visitation by friends will be 5:30 p.m. Saturday November 30, 2019 at the funeral home.

Mr. Day had been a fabricator at Altec and Combatel Utility Manufacturing, held an Associates Degree and was a veteran having served in the United States Air Force.

Mr. Day is survived by his son Leon (Carolyn) Day of New York City, New York, two sisters, Mary Burns of Hanceville and Loraine Stewart of Birmingham and several nieces and nephews.
