Funeral services for Clara Faye Barber Wallen, 79, of Cullman will be 12:00 Tuesday, January 28th at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel.  Visitation will be prior to the service 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. at Hanceville Funeral Home.  The graveside service will take place at Popes Chapel Cemetery on Tuesday at 3:00 P.M.  Patrick Watson will be officiating services.

Mrs. Wallen was born April 7, 1945 in Birmingham, Alabama.  She passed away January 22, 2025 in Cullman, Alabama.

Mrs. Wallen is survived by her children, Regina Self, James David Wallen (Barbie); grandchildren, Rachel Friedman (Blake), Penny Self (Randy), Mallory McMurry (Bobby), William Cody Self (Allison), Holly Hackett-Gross (Zack), Victoria Cardell (Alex), Valerie Tyler (Russell); and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Mrs. Wallen was preceded in death by her husband, James Madison Wallen, and her parents, Alfred & Rachel Thornburg Barber; siblings, Rayburn Lamar Barber (Betty), Patricia Barber Isbell; daughter, Donna Faye Layton.
