Funeral service for Charles H. Loyd 67, of Eva will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 3, 2020 in the chapel of Hanceville Funeral Home with Brother Matt Colburn officiating. Interment will follow at Crossroads Cemetery. His family will receive friends Tuesday evening beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the funeral home.  (Please follow social distancing recommendations).  Charles died June 1 ^st at his residence after an extended illness.

The son of the late Howard and Azzlee Holmes Loyd was a truck driver. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Wayne Loyd; sisters, Margaret and Patricia as well as his step father, Orvil Owens.

Surviving are sons, Charles (Michelle ) Loyd and Christopher (Tammy) Loyd both of Holly Pond and a daughter, Wanda (Tim) Nash of Eva.  Also are 10 grandchildren, one great grandchild; Fiance', Linda Brooks; step daughter, Tiffany Brooks; Sister, Dorothy King and Brothers, Anthony, Stevie and Timmy Owens.
