Funeral services for Carol “Combs” Rigsby, 84, of Merritt Island, Florida (formerly of Hanceville, Alabama) will be 12:00 P.M. Saturday May 23rd at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the service at Hopewell Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. at Hanceville Funeral Home.

Ms. Rigsby was born October 20, 1941 in Cullman, Alabama to the late Guyles & Estelle Combs. She passed away May 13, 2026 in Merritt Island, Florida.

Ms. Rigsby is survived by her nieces, Leigh Ann Combs, Sherrie Wise (Wayne), Cassie Kirpan (Paul), and Tara Defreitas (Ivan).

Ms. Rigsby was preceded in death by her parents, Guyles & Estelle Combs; daughter, Michelle Rigsby; brother Tommy Combs; and her nephew, Guy Combs

Serving as pallbearers will be Brandon Combs, Ryan Combs, Zachery Wise, Andrew Wise, Michael Coggins, and Brayden Coggins.
