Funeral services for Byron Twitty of Hanceville, Alabama will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, August 6, 2021 at Pleasant Grove Church in Colony, Alabama. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. Mr. Twitty will lie in repose at the church from 1:00 P.M. until service time. Visitation will be from 5:30 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, August 5, 2021 at Hanceville Funeral Home.

Mr. Twitty was born to Albert and Ella (Nall) Twitty on April 6, 1968 in Cullman. He died at the age of 53 at his residence on August 2, 2021.

Survivors include his wife, Kimberly Purifoy Twitty, son, Keith Twitty II; mother, Ella Marie Sims; brothers, Albert Twitty Jr., Renaldo Smiley, Michael Twitty and Marvis Sims; a sister, Demtrice Sims; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mr. Twitty was preceded in death by his father Albert Twitty.
