Funeral services for Bruce AC Barrett, 77, of Hanceville will be 11:00 a.m. Monday October 5th at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the service at Laodicea cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday October 4th from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Hanceville Funeral Home.

With great sadness Bruce has gone home. He came into this world February 25, 1949, and left on September 27, 2026. Bruce is survived by his wife, Brentis Barrett; sons, Al Barrett, and Stuart Barrett (Pat); his grandsons, Dre Barrett (Brandilyn), Chace Barrett, Joey Harper, and Jared Harper (Rebecca); 7 great grandkids; brother, Tommy Barrett; sisters-in-law, Debora Dorr, and Kathy Nash (Larry); and his brother-in-law, James Davis (Teena); and a host of nieces and nephews.

Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny C. & Dorothy Barrett; and his siblings, James & Sue Barrett; Johnny Barrett; and Maureen Swords.

Bruce was a great husband, dad, granddaddy, brother-in-law, and friend. He was a 32° master mason, custom gunsmith, and worked on commercial refrigeration.
