It is with great sadness that the family of Brenda Kay Dodson Middleton announces her slipping from these earthly bonds to Heavenly perfection on February 11, 2021 surrounded by her family.

Mama Brenda as her family will forever remember her was born In Birmingham, Al on Jan. 8, 1955 to the late John and Tresia Dodson.  Mama Brenda had a huge heart and always put her family first. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother and sister.  She worked meticulously at everything she put her hands to and she loved Jesus first of all!

She is survived by her beloved husband of 35 years, Jerry Middleton of Garden City; son, David Allen Jones of Lexington, Ky. Sisters; Therisa (John) Cates of Bangor, Phyllis (Mark) Quick of Bangor and Nina (Bob) Detweiler of Cleveland, Tn. Brothers; Mitch (Margie) Dodson of Bangor, David (Tammy) Dodson of Cleveland, Tn. and Johnny Lee (Pat) Dodson; 9 nephews and nieces and 17 great nephews and nieces.

A funeral service will be held at 2 P.M. Sunday, Feb.14 ^th at Hanceville Funeral Home. Jacob Detweiler officiating. Burial will follow at Bangor Cemetery.  Her family will receive friends beginning at 12 noon at the funeral home. Masks are required.
