A private graveside service for Billy Wayne Evans will be Wednesday, September 1st at Union Hill Church of Christ Cemetery. Minister Bret Walters will be officiating. For those that are attending masks are encouraged.

Mr. Evans was a longtime member of Homewood Church of Christ. He was born on May 10, 1938 in Cullman and died at the age of 83 on August 29, 2021 in Hoover.

Mr. Evans was preceded in death by his parents, Louis C and Ethel (Pichelmayer) Evans and 10 siblings.

Survivors include his devoted wife and best friend of 64 years, Ann Evans; children, Deborah Ann Alhadeff (Dr. Les) and Barry Gamble Evans (Geri); grandchildren, Lindsey Davis (Jordan), Logan Wayne Evans, Parker Cole Evans and William Nissin Alhadeff; two sisters, Glenda Gorham and Diana Harris; loving church family, friends, nieces and nephews.
