Funeral service for Betty Rider, 77, of Hanceville will be 4 O'clock p.m. Wednesday July 3, 2019 at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Hopewell Cemetery in Hanceville. The family will receive friends at the funeral home starting at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday prior to the services.

Mrs. Rider is survived by her husband William Rider, three children; Sharon (Doug) Davenport, Ronda (Chris) Callaway and Dewayne Rider, grandchildren; Justin Davenport, Kyle (Lynsey) Davenport, Blake Callaway, Deanna Rider and Raenon Rider, great grandchildren; Kylee McNeeley, Lincoln Davenport and Gavin Davenport, her brother Homer (Dolly) Davis and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Rider was preceded in death by her parents Ephron and Kate (Powers) Davis, two brothers James Davis and Richard Davis and sisters Ruth Nail, Nellie Armstrong and Linnie Quick.
