Funeral services for Betty Fay Kretzschmar of Hanceville will be 11:00 A.M. October 26, 2021 at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Garden City Cemetery. Reverend Trueman Davis will be officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Monday, October 25, 2021 at Hanceville Funeral Home.

Ms. Kretzschmar was born on October 23, 1935 to Otto and Montel (Harris) Kretzschmar at her home in Hanceville. She died on October 23, 2021 at the age of 86 at her residence.

Survivors include her brothers, Ray Kretzschmar and Wayne (Jean) Kretzschmar; nieces and nephews, Nina Lawrence, Randy Kretzschmar, Mike Kretzschmar, Connie Moore, Shellie Lafon, Johnny Kretzschmar, Kim Keller and spouses; and a host of other great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Kretzschmar was also preceded in death by her sisters, Gerldine Kretzschmar and Kathleen Kretzschmar; and a brother, Allen Kretzschmar.
