Funeral services for Betty Joyce Cobb of Garden City, Alabama will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, June 24th at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel.  Reverends Wayne Wisener, Trueman Davis and Junior Wolfe will be officiating. Burial will follow the service at Hopewell Cemetery. Visitation for the public will be from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday, June 23rd at Hanceville Funeral Home.

Mrs. Cobb was born on Saturday, December 12, 1942 to Joseph and Marcelle (Phillips) Nix. She passed away on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at Cullman Regional Medical Center in Cullman, Alabama.

Survivors include her children, Debra (Hamilton) Masters and Charles O'Neal (Susan) Cobb; grandchildren, Karen Masters, Kristen (Patrick) Masters-Williams, Jessica (Tim) Gable, Brandon Cobb and Nicholas Cobb; great grandchildren, Brennan Williams and Joshua Ketcher; nephew, Chris Nix; and niece, Kim Railey.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cobb was preceded in death by her husband, Thurman O'Neal Cobb; and brother, Buddy Nix.
