Funeral services for Mrs. Bernice Christine McKinnon, will be noon at Shelton Grove Baptist Church, Thursday September 12. Visitation will be at the church, eleven a.m. until noon. Ernest McKinnon will be officiating. Burial will follow at the Shelton Grove Baptist Cemetery.

Mrs. McKinnon was born in Pike County, Kentucky and is survived by her daughter Linda (Sam) Carter, sons, Ronald (Gloria) McKinnon, Dale (Penny) McKinnon, Ernest (Arlinda) McKinnon and Roger (Allison) McKinnon. Other survivors include five sisters, Bea Stump, Virginia Farley, Dana Fisher, Sherrie Cyrus, Sheila Stone and two brothers Estile Moore and Darrell Moore. There are fifteen grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Mrs. McKinnon is preceded in death by husband Ernest McKinnon Sr., her parents Jesse and Lizzie (Lane) Moore, a sister Mollie McCormick and a brother Tom Moore.
