Barbara Sue Rogers of Garden City, Alabama, 81, passed away peacefully on September 4, 2019 at her home.

Mrs. Rogers was born on April 12, 1938, in Hayden, Alabama. She is preceded in death by her parents Onis and Imogene (Turner) Thomas, a daughter, Belinda Jane Rogers and two brothers Joe Thomas and Steve Thomas. Mrs. Rogers retired from the Birmingham Eye Hospital.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday September 7 at the Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Pastors Matt Smith and Sam Hollis, of Eastside Baptist Church will be officiating. Mrs. Roger will be laid to rest at the Nectar Cemetery. Visitation will be held at 5:30 p.m., Friday September 6, 2019 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Rogers is survived by her husband Ralph Rogers of Garden City and a host of nieces and nephews.
