Funeral Services for Barbara Jean Carden, 90, of Hanceville, Alabama will be 2 O'clock P.M. Friday February 7, 2020 at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Fairview West Cemetery located in Hanceville. The family will welcome guests for a visitation beginning at 5:30 P.M. Thursday February 6, 2020 at Hanceville Funeral Home.

Mrs. Carden is the daughter of the late Walter Thomas and Martha (Mickle) Spinks.

Mrs. Carden is survived by her children, Gary Wayne "Butch" Sullins, Joseph Alan Sullins, Karen Diane (Greg) Young; step-children, Ann Conn, Kaye Smith, Tina Clements, and Gail Carden; a brother, Jackie Spinks; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Carden is also preceded in death by her husband, James E. Carden; and a step-son, Ricky Carden.
